Fence Mapping & Measurement

To measure the length between two points using Google Maps on your computer, go to maps.google.com

1. Look up your property address and zoom in to enlarge it.
2. Using your mouse, right-click to create a starting point on your property to display the dropdown options.
3. From the dropdown list, select “Measure Distance.”
4. Click on the property where you want to begin measuring the area where your new fence will be installed.
5. Continue clicking on the map to create additional points until you reach where the fence will end to determine the entire length of fencing you’ll need for your property.
6. Once finished, jot down the measurement shown and click “Close.”
